A second visit to Mingulay this year. Great wildlife, basking sharks in the bay, puffins in good numbers, and some pretty challenging paddling to be had too.

Harris June 2010

The trip to Harris in June was a fantastic expereince. We left Tarbert, and headed out rounding Scarp, then down to Taransey and into the Sound of Harris. Stunnings view of Sea Eagles soaring over the wild cliffs of Scarp

Early June saw us down to Mingulay for the first time this year. Beautiful weather and some great opportunities to get up close and personal with the local inhabitants

or is this most beautiful beach in the Hebrides? For this photo I used the panorama mode on the camera which stitched 3 shots together. I reckon it is best done with a tripod, but not too bad for being hand held all the same. May 2009
